Caffe' Bella Vita - 7 Bayberry Court, , MA 02554 (508) 228-8766

Caffe' Bella Vita RestaurantIntro
Located just outside Town, in a complex of stores known as Commons, is a little gem specializing in authentic Italian Cuisine, steaks and fresh seafood. Caffe' Bella Vita is a year round restaurant with delicious food and suprisingly moderate prices. This small restaurant, about eight indoor candle-lit tables, and a delightful outdoor patio is not well known to tourists, even though it has been around for many years. We believe this restuarant needs to be discovered and we urge you to visit.Caffe' Bella Vita Restaurant

Ambiance
Many years ago luncheons first drew our attention to this interesting restaurant. Lunches are no longer served, but Caffe' Bella Vita is open every evening. The pink colorings of the room, fresh flowers and strong candle glow create warmth throughout the small L shaped room. The attractive windows make this a charming spot in any season. The summer patio with a garden backdrop is an extra delight. We were sorry on the night we dropped in to find it full, but felt lucky a table inside was available. The small size of this restuarant creates a coziness rarely found on and the courteous wait staff make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.

Food
Choices at the Bella Vita are many varieties of pasta, chicken, shrimp scampi or shrimp and lobster over angel pasta, and an equal number of choices of veal. In addition, there is often the chef's choice, which this evening was a crusted salmon, served with crisp, perfectly cooked asparagus, absolutely first rate. The Vitello Alla Cacciatora, was, as promised, tender slivers of veal served with peppers, onions, mushrooms, garlic, oregano and tomatoes. Each of the entrees comes with pasta, salad, and fresh baked bread. The salad was crisp and served with an excellent light vinaigrette dressing. Although the dinner was excellent, we couldn't resist dessert, a combination of raspbery sorbet, vanilla ice cream, and pastry that was the perfect conclusion to the meal.

Other Observations:
We seldom hear much about the Caffe' Bella Vita. As our waitress mentioned, " We are one of the best kept secrets on ; get the word out!" We totally agree and hope that this delightful spot, where parking is so easy, gets the recognition it deserves. Few places offer a dinner complete with both pasta and salad at such fair prices. This restaurant is charming. Put it on your list to visit soon.
