Beer Pong Profile - Chris "The Dragon" Mead
Chris "The Dragon" Mead, known to many as "Sarge" had a surprising run for the title in the Kaino II title. The Dragon is a top-ranked beer pong player and a heavy favorite in past tourneys including taking home the title in his own 2004 Philadelphia beer pong tourney. In fact, Wildman and Matro placed a side wager for $5 on the Dragon's journey into the finals and Mattro took that one in the end.
After moving into the family stage of his beer pong playing abilities, Sarge who hails from Philadelphia with lovely wife Mylene and daughter Hannah possibly could have been distracted with the new seed growing in his life, which is due in December. As a family man, one can wonder how it is possible to maintain a job, family and pong belt all at once....but Sargent made a bid for just that sort of role.
In the first round of beer pong play, Sarge easily disposed of Rookie Mike "Going with Hottie Wife to Vegas" by a score of 5-1. But then in a stunning match-up, Sarge faced Ken "Class of '88? Keg" in Round 2 and was punished by the older and wiser Beta in an abusive 5-1 score. In doubles, Sarge partnered with Amish comrad "Amish" and had a nice few match-ups, but failed in the end to repeat their doubles performance in June '04 in Philadelphia. The dragon is hungry for another Beer Pong venue, but his family adventures will take precedence for now.
