Beer Pong Profile - Chris "Matro" Matricciani

Chris "Hat" Matricciani, was all primed and full of beer pong smack talk at 1AM Saturday morning. After dolling out verbal abuse to older Betas Ken "Keg" and especially Phil "Le Shock", Matro was gearing up for the big Saturday tournament. His wife's convertible "UK Fab" Saab provided the audio for the Friday night warm-up and with the help of the host, John Kain, he looked in pretty good shape. However, as the night air attracted Pennsylvania's largest Moths, Matro extended his mischievous streak by trying to dunk them in Wildman's beer. Not kai Matro!
At the main event on Saturday, Matro was pitted against older alum Ken "Keg" in the first round. While both players had practiced the previous night, Matro was clearly a favored player due to his extensive appearances on the Pong circuit over the past few years. However, in another surprise match-up, the game turned into a beer pong slug-fest for quite sometime. Speaking of time, there was some confusion as to when the exact time of the match was supposed to be over. Matro was in the lead, but Ken fired back and score a winning point just under the buzzer to give him the end of time advantage and victory over the younger grasshopper. 4-3 loss for Matro in OT.
Matro was discouraged, but not down for the count. He revisited doubles with Kain, who also faced an upset in singles. In doubles, the two punished several teams with their patented "Vegas Sinks", but it was not enough to take home the double challenge trophy.
Mattro was seen in the Kaino II tourney with a new and unusual paddle. This handle-less paddle had finger curves embedded into it. Will this paddle help Mattro and Kaino advance further than Top 10 Beer Pong Team in the world? Only the 2005 World Beer Pong Championship will tell.
