Wallyball Pics and Summary
To quote fellow employee Josh Fialky, "Good Times" were had at the Wayside Racquet Club with the first Inceptor Wallyball event. After leaving work with at least four sets of directions, we settled on one and took the backroads through Sudbury and Marlborough. The Wayside Racquet Club seemed like a pretty decent venue. Upon arriving, we stormed into the left court with the smallest window space, which meant we could easily hide our poor volleys from the general public. However, the public seemed to find their way to our court window and looked on with interest. Overall, the games went pretty well. After the first hour of play, it was obvious that the game was wearing us all out, but not before a broken nail and blood vessel of two Wallyball players. In the end each player began to adapt to the rules and the intricacies of the walls and developed his or her own style of play.

Who needs two nets, let alone these wooden boards anyway?

Afterwards the Wallyball Slam Master does some taunting.

Bring on the Search Engine Marketers..

Welcome Inceptor Search Engine Marketers to the great game of Wallyball. Do you really think you can interceptor the Wallyball slams at this quintisential event? It should be a great game and fantastic workout.
Here are some preliminary thoughts on the Wallyball line-up:
"Big Bad" Ben - Ben is all Size. In fact some might say he resembles an NFL linebacker. Ben has the power and the height to be unstoppable. But the question remains to be seen whether Ben has the agility and ball handling that is required to be a success at Wallyball.
Peter "Piper" - Pete has been a regular Inceptor participant in extracurricular sports and past analysts have witnessed Pete's speed during the game. Additionally, Pete has height - another tremendous advantage in the Game of Wallyball. However, it is unknown whether Pete can leverage his physical attributes to the fullest to to put him over the top.
"Tall" Kevin - Another IT guru on the squad who has all height. However, insiders have learned that Kevin actually prefers playing in the back, so it is undetermined if Kevin T. can step up to block any of the big shots.
Kev "Mar" - Kev Mar is a soccer guru without a question. Our only question is can he leverage his talents in the Wallyball as well? Kevin's speed and agility will certainly pose a challenge for evn the most mobile of players. As he was prepared for this game one week early, odds are he clearly has potential.
Dan "The Man" - Dan is fired up for the Wallyball game. Dan has a combination of skills that could leverage him to being a top Wallyball player in the brackets - - height, speed and agility. But the walls still remain Dan's outstanding question. Any novice to Wallyball will soon discover that it is almost as important to read the walls and to play off them as it is to have height, speed and power. Can Dan step up to the challenge?
Nicole "The EarlyBird"- Nicole is representing half of the women's squad. We give her kudos for stepping up to the Wallyball challenge. While we think Nicole may perform best with her partner in crime, Steph. But in the interim, watch out for Nicole's side-winder spike, which is not to be missed.
Steph "The Inspiration" - Steph will likely carry her team's enthusiasm throughout the tourney. We think Steph will outperform once reunited with the other Women's contingency. In the mean time, we think Steph is a player to watch and could be a dark horse.
"Wildman" Bill - Wildman has the distinct advantage of having played Wallyball on several occasions. But it will take more than knowing the Wallyball algorithms to step-up to this challenge. Does Wildman have enough wall tactics to defeat this tall, competitive squad?
